Shetland Sheepdog Rescue
Rescue serves a necessary role in the proper care and protection of our breed. Rescue is volunteer work done by caring individuals who want to contribute to the well being of Shelties in need. Rescue is not a paid job. Volunteers donate their time, energy and often money.
ASSA, as the parent club, recognizes an obligation to help support these efforts.
The ASSA supports Sheltie rescue efforts primarily through the ASSA Foundation. The Foundation provides financial support to the rescue operations of ASSA Member Clubs and the affiliates of those member clubs across the country.
The need for rescue funding is never-ending. We encourage you to assist us in this ongoing effort.
